Fauziah Sulaiman, Senior Lecturer in the Industrial Physics Programme at the Faculty of Science and Natural Resources of Universiti Malaysia Sabah, paid an official visit to our University. The visit was facilitated by the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two universities.
The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen international academic ties and further develop cooperation between the two institutions.
Fauziah Sulaiman was welcomed by University representatives led by Mustafa Giritlioğlu, Vice-Rector for Finance and International Relations.
During the meeting, Vice-Rector Mustafa Giritlioğlu noted that our University is always open to developing international academic cooperation. He also stated that major international and national research projects are being implemented in the laboratories of the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the Research Institute of Natural Sciences.
Associate Professor Dr Fauziah Sulaiman presented information about her university. She also expressed her interest in conducting joint research with our University’s scholars in such areas as information technology in education, physics teaching methodology, problem-based learning (PBL), distance education, and applied physics.
The parties discussed opportunities to strengthen scientific and educational cooperation between the two universities.
