Today, a training session titled "Drug Addiction, Tobacco, and Alcohol Are Dangerous Plagues; Prevention Is Our Duty" was held at our university. This notable event was organized by the Youth Center and the AI Medical Outpatient Clinic.

The main goal of the training was to explain the harmful effects of drug use in society, encourage young people to adopt a healthy lifestyle, and prevent drug addiction.
The speakers at the meeting were Lazzat Myrzasheva, a psychologist from the university's Department of Socio-Cultural Work Organization and Psychological Support, and Gulzhazira Begimbetova, a doctor at the AI Medical Outpatient Clinic.

The speakers provided young people with up-to-date information on the negative effects and dangers of harmful habits such as drug addiction, smoking, and alcohol consumption. They also shared insights on the importance of human health and mindful living.
Additionally, student volunteers from the "Y-PEER" international network staged a performance titled “A Step Towards Life.”

Meanwhile, psychologist Lazzat Myrzasheva explained that a person should fill their soul with national and spiritual values rather than harmful substances that offer only temporary pleasure. She also emphasized the importance of pursuing education and science.

The students were divided into three groups to participate in a psychological training exercise.
Thus, measures to prevent these harmful plagues, which have become a major affliction of modern times, were comprehensively addressed.
