NURLAN ABDIROV REVIEWS READINESS OF POLLING STATION NO. 133 AT THE UNIVERSITY
Nurlan Abdirov, Chair of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited Turkistan Region as part of an inspection tour to review preparations for the election of deputies to the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scheduled for 23 August.
As part of his visit, N. Abdirov visited Polling Station No. 133 located at our university to assess its readiness for the upcoming election.
University Rector Zhanar Temirbekova welcomed the distinguished guest and briefed him on the preparations at the polling station.
Members and staff of the Central Election Commission are currently conducting inspection visits across all 20 regions of Kazakhstan to assess the progress of preparations for the upcoming election.
During the visit, Nurlan Abdirov assessed the level of material and technical readiness of Polling Station No. 133, the organization of voter information and awareness activities, and the conditions established for the voting process. Particular attention was also paid to the work of territorial election commissions, including the training and preparation of commission members.
The meeting also addressed key aspects of the current electoral campaign, consistent implementation of electoral legislation, the effective organization of election commissions’ work on voting day, and measures to ensure the transparency, openness, and legality of the electoral process.
At the conclusion of the visit, the readiness of the polling station was reviewed in detail, and Chair of the Central Election Commission Nurlan Abdirov gave a positive assessment of the preparations.
