A graduation ceremony was held at our university to celebrate graduates who have successfully completed residency programs at the Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education.
The ceremony was attended by University Rector Zhanar Temirbekova, Head of the Turkistan Region Department of Healthcare Askhan Baydualiyev, Vice-Rector for Science and Strategic Development Ainash Oshibayeva, members of the university’s medical faculty, faculty staff, graduates, and their parents and loved ones.
Opening the ceremony, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova congratulated the graduates on successfully completing an important stage of their professional development and wished them success in their future careers.
In her address, the Rector highlighted the special responsibility that comes with being a medical professional and encouraged the graduates to continue learning, developing their expertise, and keeping pace with advances in medicine and healthcare.
“Being a doctor means carrying a great responsibility to society. A true doctor continues to learn throughout their professional life, constantly seeks new knowledge, and masters modern technologies. Use the knowledge and skills you have acquired for the benefit of society and continue to strengthen your professional qualifications. Never stop learning and striving for excellence. I am confident that you will become highly qualified medical professionals and make a meaningful contribution to the development of healthcare.”
Head of the Turkistan Region Department of Healthcare Askhan Baydualiyev also congratulated the graduates and wished them success and professional fulfillment.
Vice-Rector for Science and Strategic Development, Candidate of Medical Sciences Ainash Oshibayeva, and Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education Zhanar Zhagyparova also addressed the graduates, extending their warm congratulations and wishing the young doctors a successful professional journey.
The ceremony also recognized faculty members and staff who had made a significant contribution to the professional training of residents and the effective organization of the educational process. They were presented with certificates of appreciation for their dedicated work.
This year, more than 200 graduates completed residency programs in 12 specialties, including Allergy and Immunology, Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gastroenterology, Adult Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, Pediatrics, Radiology, Rheumatology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Endocrinology.
One of the most significant moments of the ceremony was the solemn recitation of the Professional Oath of a Medical Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the young doctors. The oath symbolized their commitment to protecting human life and health and to serving their patients with professionalism, integrity, and dedication.
Having successfully completed their residency training, the graduates are now embarking on a new chapter in their professional lives as qualified healthcare specialists, ready to apply their knowledge and expertise in the service of society.
We wish all our graduates every success in their professional careers, recognition and fulfillment in their chosen field, and the strength and determination to reach new heights.
