SEMINAR ON THE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN PUBLIC SERVICE HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY
As part of the "Law and Order" initiative, our university hosted a seminar for employees of the Department of Economic Investigations of the Turkistan Region on the topic "Safe and Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence in Public Service."
The event was attended by the department's staff, led by Dias Suleimenov, Deputy Head of the Department of Economic Investigations for the Turkistan Region, as well as the university's management.
During the seminar, Abylay Tastanbekov, the university's Digital Technologies Specialist, explained the key principles of the safe and effective use of artificial intelligence technologies in the public sector. He highlighted the capabilities and limitations of AI tools, emphasizing the importance of protecting personal, official, and confidential information. He also stressed that artificial intelligence should not be viewed as a decision-making tool, but rather as an assistant that enhances employees' efficiency and supports their daily work.
The practical training covered prompt engineering, drafting official documents and correspondence, analyzing and summarizing large volumes of documents, working with statistical data, preparing management reports, developing presentation outlines, and verifying the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated information.
At the end of the seminar, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views on the safe, effective, and responsible use of artificial intelligence tools in public service.
