Continuing its long-standing tradition, Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University has sent 40 students to the Republic of Türkiye to participate in its annual Summer School Program. Ahead of their departure, the University's leadership met with the participants to wish them success and an enriching educational experience.

The Summer School Program in Türkiye is one of the University's flagship initiatives designed to support academically outstanding and highly active students. The program is funded by the University's Board of Trustees. Participants were selected through a competitive process based on academic excellence, proficiency in the Turkish language, and outstanding achievements in academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities.

Mustafa Giritlioglu, Acting Representative of the Rector and Vice-Rector for Finance and International Relations, together with Edil Tolegenov, Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development, met with the students to congratulate them and offer their best wishes before the journey.

Addressing the participants, Mustafa Giritlioglu said:

"Dear students participating in the Summer School Program, I sincerely congratulate you on earning this opportunity. Your participation is a reflection of your academic achievements, commitment, and hard work. During your stay in Türkiye, you will explore the rich historical and cultural heritage shared by the Turkish and Kazakh peoples while gaining a deeper understanding of Turkish society and traditions. A comprehensive program has been carefully designed to ensure that your visit is both educational and rewarding. Throughout this journey, you will represent not only our University but also your families and the Republic of Kazakhstan. I wish you a successful trip, meaningful experiences, and lasting memories."

Vice-Rector Yedil Tolegenov also addressed the students:

"Today, we are meeting with some of the University's most talented and accomplished students. Our University has provided you with a unique opportunity to visit Türkiye and broaden your academic and cultural horizons. Wherever you go, I encourage you to respect the laws, traditions, and customs of the host country and to conduct yourselves with dignity and responsibility. I am confident that you will represent our University with distinction. May this journey enrich you with valuable historical, cultural, and spiritual experiences. I wish each of you a safe and successful trip."

Over the next ten days, the students will visit the Turkish cities of Bursa, Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Bilecik, Ankara, Nevşehir, Bolu, and Istanbul. During the program, they will explore the country's historical and cultural landmarks, visit major attractions, and gain firsthand insight into Türkiye's social, cultural, and historical development.

This educational initiative provides students with a valuable opportunity to broaden their international outlook, strengthen intercultural dialogue, and deepen their appreciation of the shared historical and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Türkiye.
