Today, our University hosted a round table discussion entitled "Astana – the Pillar of Independence, the Constitution – the Cornerstone of Our State", dedicated to Astana Day and Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The educational event was organized by the Youth Center and brought together the University's active students with Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development Yedil Tolegenov.

The primary objective of the event was to enhance students' legal awareness, promote a deeper understanding of the historical and strategic significance of Astana in strengthening Kazakhstan's independence, and highlight the pivotal role of the Constitution in the life of the state and society.

During the discussion, participants exchanged views on the history of Astana's development, its role as the political, economic, and cultural center of Kazakhstan, as well as the importance of the Constitution in safeguarding the rights and freedoms of citizens. Particular attention was also given to fostering respect for the rule of law, civic responsibility, patriotism, and national values among young people.

Students actively participated in the discussion, sharing their views and emphasizing the importance of the constitutional principles that serve as the foundation for the country's sustainable development, social stability, and national unity.

The participants also noted the educational value of such events in promoting legal literacy among young people and emphasized the importance of organizing similar activities on a regular basis to strengthen students' civic awareness and legal culture.
