A DELEGATION OF OUR UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATED IN AN INTERNATIONAL FORUM

An international forum titled “GOVHR FORUM 2.0: Human. Potential. Public Value in the Era of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence” was held in Astana at the initiative of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs.

The large-scale international event was attended by Khairulla Massadikov, Director of the Science Department of our University, and Makpal Anlamassova, Head of the Department of International Relations.

The forum brought together heads of government agencies from Europe, Asia, and CIS countries, representatives of international organizations, academic experts, as well as leading professionals in the fields of HR and GovTech.

More than 50 foreign guests from over 20 countries participated in the event.

The forum opened with a congratulatory message from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs, Darkhan Zhazykbay, delivered the President’s address and highlighted the crucial role of human capital in the modernization of the civil service system.

Among the distinguished participants were Alikhan Baimenov, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Astana Civil Service Hub; David Meyer, President of GRECO; Katarzyna Wawiernia, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kazakhstan; Marash Dukaj, Minister of Public Administration of Montenegro; Mio Maeda, Director General for International Affairs and Training of Japan’s National Personnel Authority; Bilal Şentürk, Director General for Personnel Affairs and Service Principles of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye; as well as other international experts.

During the forum, participants discussed the transformation of human resource processes in public administration, the integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence tools, the development of human capital, and the formation of a public service model based on public values.
