INFORMATION LETTER
The III International Symposium “Kazakh as a Language of Science: Scientific Transformation in the Digital Qazaqstan Era” will be held at Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University on September 23–25, 2026.
Digital transformation has become one of the key processes shaping the development of science, education, and technology today. The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, machine learning, information and communication technologies, and digital platforms is creating new opportunities for the production, dissemination, and use of scientific information, while placing new demands on the role of national languages in the scientific and digital space.
In line with the position of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, that “As a leading digital hub in the Eurasian space, Kazakhstan will continue this important mission in the future,” the symposium, organized at the initiative of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University with the participation of partner organizations, will provide a comprehensive discussion of the role of the Kazakh language in science, education, and technology in the context of digitalization, as well as its development opportunities and future prospects.
Main thematic areas of the Symposium:
digital transformation of the Kazakh language and scientific communication;
artificial intelligence, language technologies, and the potential of the Kazakh language in the digital space;
digitalization in the social sciences and humanities, natural sciences, and technical sciences;
scientific terminology, the national language of science, and Kazakh-language scientific content;
international relations, digital transformation, and science diplomacy;
preservation and development of Kazakh art and cultural heritage in the digital era;
Turkology, literary studies, Abai studies, and the study of spiritual heritage in the contemporary scientific space;
legal discourse in the Kazakh language, scientific publications, and digital transformation.
Symposium sections:
Section 1. Fundamental and Applied Linguistics: Scientific Communication in the Kazakh Language in the Context of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence
Section 2. Opportunities of Artificial Intelligence in Renewing the National Content of the Social Sciences and Humanities
Section 3. The National Scientific Space of the Natural and Technical Sciences: Scientific Communication, Digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence
Section 4. The New Constitution: Kazakh-Language Legal Discourse, Scientific Publications, and Digital Transformation
Section 5. Kazakh Art in the Era of Digitalization: New Forms of Preserving and Developing Tradition
Section 6. Beisembai Kenzhebayuly and Turkology of the Turkic Peoples: Issues and Perspectives
As part of the section, a museum-lecture hall named after Beisembai Kenzhebayuly, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, literary scholar, and writer, will be presented.
Section 7. Mekemtas Myrzakhmetuly and Kazakh Spiritual Heritage: Issues in Literary Studies and Abai Studies
As part of the section, it is planned to open a dedicated lecture hall named after Mekemtas Myrzakhmetuly, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, distinguished literary scholar, Abai scholar, Doctor of Philological Sciences, and Professor.

The text of the paper recommended for publication following the Symposium must be prepared in accordance with the following requirements:
the paper must be at least 5 pages in length;
the text must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format;
page format – A4;
font – Times New Roman;
font size – 12 pt;
line spacing – 1.0;
first-line paragraph indent – 1.25 cm;
page margins: left – 2.5 cm, right – 2 cm, top and bottom – 2 cm;
the title of the paper must be written in bold and centered;
the author’s full name, academic degree/title, place of employment, and e-mail address must be provided;
tables, figures, diagrams, and formulas must be numbered sequentially within the text and provided with appropriate titles;
the list of references must be provided at the end of the paper;
the text must be written in an academic style and comply with orthographic and stylistic requirements.
