On September 24, 2026, a presentation of the study guide titled “The Use of Foreign Archival Sources in Teaching the Contemporary History of Kazakhstan” by Raigul Khazretaliyevna, Senior Lecturer at the Department of History and PhD, was held in Building 3 of the Faculty of Education and Humanities.

The event was moderated by K. Bazarbayev, Associate Professor of the Department of History. E. U. Zulpykharova, Dean of the Faculty, officially opened the presentation by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. Faculty members and students took part in the event.

The new study guide is aimed at integrating the results of academic research into the educational process. It addresses the effective use of foreign archival sources in teaching the contemporary history of Kazakhstan. Incorporating documents from foreign archives into the educational process expands the source base of historical education and provides opportunities for a comprehensive study of historical events and processes.

Working with archival documents plays an important role in developing students’ research skills. Comparative analysis of various sources helps students develop independent research abilities, critically evaluate historical information, and formulate evidence-based conclusions.

During the presentation, the content of the study guide was introduced, with particular attention given to its academic and methodological significance and its potential application in the educational process.

At the end of the event, the author of the study guide, Raigul Khazretaliyevna, presented copies of her work to the students.
