«ЖЫРЛАЙДЫ ЖҮРЕК»

To mark the 95th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kazakh poet and one of the brightest figures in Kazakh literature, Mukagali Makatayev, the Department of Kazakh and Russian Languages at the Preparatory Center organized a poetry evening entitled “The Heart Sings.”

The main purpose of the event was to introduce participants to the life and literary legacy of Mukagali Makatayev while fostering patriotism and love for the homeland through his poems dedicated to the native land, native language, humanity, nature, and beautyDuring the literary evening, a presentation was delivered about the poet's life and remarkable creative heritage. His heartfelt poems were recited by students from Kazakhstan and other Turkic countries. The audience also enjoyed theatrical performances inspired by his works, including the dramatic production “Dialogue of Love.Songs based on Mukagali's poems, including “Happiness,” were performed, and the evening concluded with a choral performance of “Remember Me.One of the highlights of the event was the expressive recitation of Mukagali's poems in Kazakh by students from Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan. Their performance demonstrated not only their enthusiasm for learning the Kazakh language but also their deep respect for Kazakh literature and culture.

 At the end of the event, the most active participants received certificates of appreciation from the Director of the Preparatory Center.

Mukagali Makatayev's poetry is an eternal spiritual treasure of the Kazakh people. As time passes, his works continue to gain even greater significance and inspire new generations.
