INNOVATION AND LANGUAGE: THE POWER THAT UNITES TURKIC YOUTH
The Department of Kazakh and Russian Languages at the Preparatory Center organized an open lesson entitled “Innovation and Language: The Power that Unites Turkic Youth.”
The main goal was to improve the participants’ ability to communicate freely in Kazakh, promote shared linguistic and cultural values among Turkic peoples, and demonstrate the effectiveness of innovative educational technologies in teaching the state language.
The lesson began with a theatrical performance depicting the first impressions of Turkic students arriving in Turkistan, Kazakh hospitality, dormitory life, and the student environment.
A role-play entitled “At the Store” introduced innovative products while highlighting the connection between science and entrepreneurship.
The lesson actively employed an electronic textbook, listening activities, idiomatic expressions, proverbs, electronic grammar resources, and topics related to cultural heritage.
The participants performed Kazakh songs, presented a KVN comedy program, and concluded the event by singing “Türkistanda Tu Tigip” together.
The open lesson became an excellent example of promoting the Kazakh language while strengthening shared history, culture, and friendship among Turkic youth.
